About Bradenton Cancer Center
Florida Cancer Specialists has built a national reputation for excellence that is reflected in exceptional and compassionate patient care. With two separate locations servicing the city of Bradenton, our client was looking for a way to expand its reach with greater capacity under one roof. As a result, we assembled four (4) different parcels from three (3) different owners and successfully developed the Bradenton Cancer Center.
Design
Located at 3630 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL, The Bradenton Cancer Center was completed in November 2021 totaling 20,250 SF. In order to emanate a modern aesthetic, we wanted to incorporate several design elements that would draw the attention of drivers on Manatee Ave W. First, clean modular lines that scale the façade and metal panel canopies. Second, oversized windows enhance the building’s appeal and utilize natural light. Finally, an accent-colored concrete blade wall abuts the glass curtain wall, creating a strong anchored entry.
To provide the highest quality of healthcare to the community, we’ve exercised Evidence-Based Design (“EBD”) throughout the planning, designing, and construction phases of this project. EBD is about creating better buildings through the knowledge and application of proven best practices identified through the collection and sharing of knowledge learned within these phases. As a result, the state-of-the-art facility improves the quality, convenience, and delivery of healthcare from providers to patients. It also reduces patient stress, includes innovative operational efficiencies, and enhances overall patient/provider experiences.
Services
The Bradenton Cancer Center now offers patients of Manatee county access to Medical Oncology, Hematology, Clinical Research, next-generation PET/CT imaging, 18 exam rooms, and 50 infusion chairs surrounded by oversized windows. To protect the staff and patients as they enter/exit the facility, we’ve integrated covered parking and drop-off canopies.
