About Trilogy Medical Center I
Optimal Outcomes completed Trilogy Medical Center I, a state-of-the-art cancer treatment center located at 110 N. Highland Avenue in Largo, Florida. The project was a joint venture between Optimal Outcomes and Gulfcoast Oncology Associates. Designed and constructed as a comprehensive cancer treatment center, the 24,000 SF facility includes medical oncology, a laboratory, a PET/CT scan, and a Trilogy Linear Accelerator offering the most advanced radiation therapy. In addition to the wide array of clinical services, the facility offers patients wireless internet and computers, LCD televisions, educational areas, classes, and counseling.
Through a unique ownership model, Optimal Outcomes formed a partnership with Gulfcoast Oncology Associates. Optimal handled the acquisition, development, construction, and long-term ownership of the property. Optimal located and acquired the site, obtained necessary permits, secured financing, and provided design and construction project management. The project was completed in December 2008, ahead of schedule and under budget. Shortly after, Gulfcoast Oncology Associates was acquired by Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in 2010.
Trilogy Medical Center I was owned, professionally managed, and fully leased by Optimal Outcomes until 2017. The sale of this property and seven others to Healthcare Trust of America or “HTA” demonstrated the success of Optimal’s design, development, and property management of its projects. Today, the location is still under the property management of Optimal Outcomes.
