About Northside Medical Plaza
Optimal Outcomes completed the 60,000 SF Northside Medical Plaza project located at 6000 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL, on the campus of Northside Hospital & Tampa Bay Heart Institute – now the HCA Florida Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute. The building houses a Diagnostic Imaging Center, Cardiovascular Surgeons, Cardiologists, Orthopedists, Physical Therapy, and Rehab and Conference Center.
Northside Medical Plaza enabled the physicians to have improved proximity to the Hospital resulting in improved operational efficiency as well as increased patient, staff, and physician convenience. Cross referral patterns proved mutually beneficial to all tenants and the MOB facilitated improved relationships between the physician tenants and the Hospital. The Heart Program at the Hospital, as measured by cases, outcomes and profitability has increased significantly due in large part to the new medical office building which allowed these groups a meaningful presence on the Hospital campus.
Northside Medical Plaza’s success led to the $10.4 Million sale in 2012, approached by Griffin-American Healthcare REIT II.
