Finalist Optimal Outcomes, a developer of medical space, said the company is always seeking new and better ways to design for the future.

The St. Petersburg company moved into its new 5,000-square-foot space less than a year ago, and has about seven employees housed there.

The company worked with LumaStream for lighting and controls; contractor was Scott Johnson of Precise Construction.

“The space is designed for the interaction which results in increased and enhances communication and ultimately better collective decision making,” said Office Manager Kristen Kowall.

The design includes 12-foot exposed ceilings, custom designed furniture, an industrial open floor place, LED lights and smart building controls.
